How the Fire Search System Works
The direct-pressure FIRESEARCH system uses the fire search tube as a “detector "sensor to detect the onset of a fire and the "extinguishing agent delivery system", the fire search tube takes all its points from an infinite number of sensors and nozzles. When a fire starts, a rupture of the fire search pipe is detected, forming an effective nozzle. The pressure drop will release carbon dioxide through the effective nozzle to effectively extinguish the fire, allowing the fastest extinguishing time and the least spread of the fire. As an option, the Firesearch system can be connected to a battery-powered sarin alarm.
The indirect pressure FIRESEARCH system uses the fire search tube as a sensor “detector” to detect the start of a fire only, and not as a discharge tube and a “system activation device”. When a fire starts, the search pipe ruptures resulting in a pressure drop, which leads to the activation of the indirect valve, then carbon dioxide is discharged from the cylinder through the diffuser nozzles, which allows the fastest extinguishing time and minimal fire propagation. As an option, the Firesearch system can be connected to a siren-powered battery.
